VOLUNTEERING
That's what makes our club run - by you, the members.

Each year, monitors, instructors & other volunteers keep track of the time they give to the Computer Club.  The first time you reach 10+ hours, you are eligible for a Gold Volunteer Badge if you do not already have one.  It is the responsibility of each volunteer to keep track of their hours & turn them in on a designated volunteer sheet to the Vice Chairman or other officer before the end of the season.  It doesn't matter if you have 10 hours or not on your monitor record, the club still needs to keep track of the hours you volunteer.

This past season, 2015-2016, the Tech Committee alone made over 229+ technical calls.  That is a lot of hours.  We have one of the best Tech (Geeks) Committee's to work with.  See the "Contact Us" page for a list of names that can be contacted if you need help.  Because of the Open Labs on Friday's, the house calls were less than previous years by about 100.

We are always looking for new Instructors, Monitors, Committee Members, SIG Facilitators, new ideas for programs & classes.  If you see a need or something you would like presented, please volunteer your talents or see the Program Committee to voice your ideas.

Each month throughout the season of 2016-2017, a club member is nominated by an individual whom they feel gives "Above and Beyond" to the enhancement of our SuperCom Computer Club.  Each of these individuals have given their time serving on committees, leading presentations, monitoring classes, instructors, officers or just being willing to step forward to try something new to make our club better and better.

We honor each of you as a recipient of this award for 2016 - 2017.
