Printer Connection Problems (Offline, etc)

​Possible causes:
  • Is printer WiFi capable?
  • Are printer and computer on same network?
  • Is printer set to Offline?
  • Printer, Modem or Computer has lost Internet connection
  • Printer driver missing or corrupt
  • Computer has virus or malware
  • Computer glitch
Things to try:
  • Check Internet connection on printer and computer
  • Check that printer is not set to operate offline
  • Restart printer, modem and computer
  • Run Troubleshooter: Search "troubleshoot"; Under Troubleshoot column, select "Printer, Find and fix problems with printing"
  • Scan for viruses and malware using recommended utilities in Tech Tips
  • Call someone on Tech Team
